He accepts Racani's resignation from the "Corpo", the latter being obliged to take care of the sick of his family. -L.S. with autograph compliment addressed to M. Goupy, in Paris. Rome, June 8, 1818. Pale stings. Consalvi evokes negotiations of the Vatican concerning a sum allocated to the Roman states for the payment of debts of France for private individuals, liquidated by Panvini Rosati: "passarmi questa trista notizia ella si offre entrare in trattiva col governo pontifico per aquisto anticipato della somma assegnata agli stati romani in pagamento dei debite della Francia verso i particolari. Dimorando costa il commissario pontifico signore Panvini Rosati che ne ha eseguita la liquidazione fa conoscere al medesimo l'offerta da lei fattami [...]".
