Two peasant women and their herd under the tall trees Pencil drawing enhanced with white on blue paper. Monogrammed C.J. at the bottom left. Stamp of the BEUDERLEY collection at the bottom left. 23 x 21cm On the back, three labels anciennes : one from the Beurdeley sale June 4, 1920 where our drawing is described under the number 232 ; another from the Centennial Exhibition of French Art in St. Petersburg (1912) with a blue pencil number 363 ; a last one " Ch. Jacque, collect. Beurdeley n° 232 " in ink.
