- Second prize Charles PACQUEMENT at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris- Palais de Tokyo (1956)
- Autumn Salons at the Grand-Palais des Champs Elysées
Numerous exhibitions at the Toulon Painting and Sculpture Salons, notably with the group of 5 (Baboulène, Fusaro, Guerrier...)

After a solid training in the schools of decorative art, which he followed with rigor and enthusiasm, he worked after the war for advertising companies to which he provided numerous projects.
But the teaching of the painters Jean Lombard and Jean Marzelle gave him a passion for easel painting. He was also a friend of the painters Manessier, Bazaine and Baboulène.
In the 1950s, he was inspired by the South of France and the natural environment of the village of Revest (Var) where he lived. He devoted himself especially to constructive research on the mineral landscape of the Provencal mountains and olive groves. Thanks to his masterful and powerful craft, he evolves from poetic figuration to a Cézanne synthesis which, in the 1950s/1960s, leads him to the bangs of abstraction.
