* Un tapis de prière à décor dit de «Mille Fleurs» en technique dite tissage Kani ou du châle cachemire, Nord-Ouest de l’Inde. Rare «Mille Fleurs» Kani weave, Mughal, circa 1800 prayer shawl or prayer mat in Cachemire or Kashmir Shawl technique. This piece has a vase which is still in the style of the early pieces. The Mille Fleurs prayer hanging, Afghan, circa 1815, has lost this early motive, therefore, this shawl must be considred as earlier of the plate 161b of F. Ames, The Kashmir Shawl.
