Biskra, Sidi Sersour Huile sur toile, signée en bas à gauche. 60 x 80 cm Marseillais, élève de Loubon et de Fromentin, Huguet effectue son premier voyage en Egypte en 1852 à l'âge de 17 ans. Il effectue un second voyage y compris jusqu'à l'Empire Ottoman. Exposant dans les Salons de Marseille et de Paris, Huguet peut être considéré comme un continuateur de son maître Eugène Fromentin. Huguet was a student of Fromentin and Loubon. He first traveled to Egypt in 1852 and then made a second trip including the Ottoman Empire, exhibiting his works at the Salon in Paris and Marseille.
