[Atlas]. DEZAUCHE (Jean Claude) ; DELAMARCHE. [Atlas composite]. Paris, Dezauche, 1772-1794. In-folio (approx. 52 x 40 cm.), 33 copper-engraved plates, salmon-colored laced boards, etiq. in center of upper board (rubbing and loss to boards, corners worn, hinges split, upper margin cut and small tear without loss on first 2 maps, wetness on qq. maps).
Composite atlas with 17 maps, including 16 double-page ones by Dezauche, successor to Guillaume de l'Isle and Philippe Buache, and a map by Delamarche after Sanson. The maps are signed by Marie Pierre Duval, G. Delahaye, Berry and Vallet. The outlines of all maps are enhanced with colors to mark territorial boundaries.
It includes general maps of Europe, Africa and France, a map of Maine et Perche, Sweden and Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy and two maps of the Holy Land.
