Louis MAJORELLE (1859-1926) Two-body walnut-framed shelving unit. The lower part of the buffet opens onto two doors decorated with exotic wood veneer inlays of floral and butterfly motifs. It features a curved, molded and ribbed base with finely carved daisies, blossoming silphium stems and leaves. The upper part features superimposed shelves with mirrored backs highlighted with tortoiseshell marquetry. Signed "Louis Majorelle à Nancy".
