Jean-Pierre RAYNAUD (1939) [FRANCE] Wooden cross, 1972 Installation of 4 red, green, yellow and blue crucifixes in wood and metal painted on a white lacquered wood panel. Removable crucifixes. Signed and dated on the back of the panel and dedicated "A mon ami Michel Pamard" with the inscription "Archives Durand-Ruel" and "Expo Bruxelles". 70 x 40 x 5 cm (Slight discoloration of the support and some wear). Bibliography : Catalog raisonné of the works of J.P. Raynaud, Denise Durand-Ruel, Tome I (1962-1973), 1998, reproduced in black and white under no. 400 p.206. Provenance: Given by the artist to the current owner's father in the late 1970s.
