The subject is the war between the Ebugors and the Cytherians. In fact, the Ebugors seem to have been that sect of sodomites that went underground under Louis XIV, who wanted to wipe them out. So Duchaufour (Fouruchuda in the text) was burned for the crime of sodomy. Corners rubbed, brown spots. Gay I, 215; Pia, 61. Extremely rare.
