BONAPARTE, Zénaïde (1801-1854), imperial highness then infanta of Spain, daughter of Joseph Bonaparte and Julie Clary. Set of 2 L.A.S : -To Télésie de Girardin. Frankfurt, August 9, 1819. 3 pp. in-8. Address on the back of the second sheet. Zénaïde denounces the baseness of the journalists and worries about the health of her mother Julie Clary "my aunts and poor Juliette have only come here to see mother suffer". -L.A.S. Frankfurt, 21 February 1818. 1 p. in-8. Zénaïde has translated The Magician "Here is the continuation of The Magician: the end will not come to you any time soon. I knew from Juliette that you liked it: I am very satisfied: I feel an infinite pleasure to work for you, my dear Céline. Tell me your opinion of this translation, give me news of your dear mother, and love me always [...] ". Juliette Blait de Villeneuve (1802-1840) was the daughter of Honorine Clary and the niece of Julie and Désirée Clary.
