JEAN-MICHEL FRANK, attribué à
Pair of ceruse oak stools with rectangular seat covered with brown leather resting on a hollow "X" base. Circa 1939. H: 45 / W: 58 / D: 44 cm. Provenance: Former collection of the Roger Faré family, Paris. We find these stools documented in L'Atelier d'Art, Plaisir de France, 1939, in situ with other furniture by Jean-Michel Frank. In an illustration of an interior of the luxury branch of the Samaritaine. At that time the branch was managed by André Guggiari and Jean Blasset, designers in the Chanaux workshops who collaborated with Jean-Michel Frank on many creations.
