Rare walnut music cabinet with a moulded top and arched cut-out presenting in the upper part a shelf with an exotic wood marquetry background depicting a landscape with butterflies, topped by a cornice decorated with floral motifs and resting on carved floor keys. It rests on a cubic body underlined by a drawer inlaid with butterflies and opens on the left side by an inlaid door decorated with a nocturnal landscape, uncovering shelves and presenting on the right side a compartmentalized space. The curved and ribbed base ends in bronze sabots with a brown patina. Signed " Gallé ". Circa 1900. H : 150 / W : 98 / D : 54,5 cm.
